Watching the PV and the live
for Weeping Song I couldn't help thinking they were classic examples of
hot boy love! Blixa Bargeld completely upstages Nick Cave both in voice
and charisma, and Nick looks like he'd happily give him one. Nick might
have been a (very talented) twat, but he knew a true star when he saw
one.
Blixa is just SO stunning especially in the live. He sings
and his voice is like hot dark chocolate, so warm, so deep, and so
vibrant. It seems to fill the air around him with its resonance. You
can't help wishing he'd done more conventional type music. Neubaten are
awesome, but this man was clearly born to croon. He's a bit like
Marcy...he should have been much more famous in his own right (but was
too cool to give a fuck about it). And he's similarly dangerously hot.
He plays guitar for Nick even though he doesn't like guitars.
This made me laugh so much....talk about the two sides of love XD

Nicholas Kalmakoff was a truly amazing artist and well worth searching out. No one does mystic like the Russians do. They own mystic :D
EDIT: Just realized today, this could well be an illustration of Behemoth, the demonic cat from The Master & Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov. Just a wild guess though, it's exactly what I imagined him to be like.
