Looks cute eh? Well actually these are the evil ninja possums, the Brushtail terrists. Nothing like the sweet little Ringtails I posted a few months ago. Brushtails are large, totally fearless and in UR Kitchen, rapin UR Fruitbowl, and polishing off the cats dinner while they are at it. They fling plates around like it's a Greek wedding and then to add insult to injury, they poop everywhere too :D
My house is literally barricaded against them every night.
And then if that's not enough there's the Bush Turkey Terrists, who infest my back yard (and everyone else's) in huge numbers.
Look at those claws! They are perfectly designed for garden destruction. Relentless stealers of mulch! And eaters of everything that grows or moves. I actually like them because they tend to nest in my garden, because I have more trees. And so they steal everyone's mulch and silt and heap it up in a huge pile in my garden :D

Hello all!
Firstly I want to apologize for the quality of these images. I am not much of a photographer really, and I was still learning to use my camera when I took these. Also this little Ringtail Possum never stopped moving around.
I rescued him from the cold wet grass one morning. He must have fallen from his mothers back and he was almost frozen solid poor mite. Still as you can see he was full of life once he warmed up and I was in a hurry to get him to the carer which is yet another excuse for these terrible photos. Being a nocturnal critter he wasn't too happy about posing in the daylight.
He was in good condition though so I am hopeful he survived. I am always rescuing wildlife even here in the inner city. The most upsetting is finding Tawny Frogmouth Owls that have been paralysed by eating poisoned rats, so please, if you love wildlife never use any kind of poisons!
